The Royal Mint continues its wildly popular Beatrix Potter 50 pence coins with the 2017 Celebrating Potter and her Little Tales range.
Beatrix Potter wrote and illustrated books that have been cherished the world over for more than a century.
Part of the new Celebrating Beatrix Potter and Her Little Tales 2017 collection, this Brilliant Uncirculated coin - the second release in the series - celebrates the misadventures of Jeremy Fisher, a fussy little frog who gets into many scrapes on his fishing trip. The obverse features a gorgeous recreation of Potter's own illustration of Jeremy Fisher. Designed by Emma Noble, the image beautifully captures the spirit and style of Potter's original work.
